From one classroom to a nationwide inclusion movement
Specialthrive began when a group of special educators and therapists kept meeting the same families — bright, loving children being turned away from schools that did not know how to support them.
We started by placing a single shadow teacher in one mainstream classroom. That child stayed, thrived and graduated with his peers. Today our multidisciplinary team supports over a thousand children across Nigeria — in homes, clinics, classrooms and online — and trains the schools that welcome them.
